Learn in a calm, supportive environment with no performance pressure – ideal if you feel unsure or even anxious about the water.
Small groups · experienced instructors · strong focus on safety
This course is for adults who:
✓ can’t swim yet
✓ feel unsure or anxious in the water
✓ had difficult or discouraging experiences in past swim lessons
✓ want to begin again now, as an adult
✓ prefer learning in a calm, manageable group
You don’t need any previous experience. We take this step by step. At your pace.
There’s no pressure to keep up with anyone else. You’ll be guided carefully, so you can build trust in the water — and in yourself.
Who This Course Is Not For
This course isn’t the right fit if you already feel confident swimming on your own. If that’s you, you likely need a more advanced setting where you can continue to grow – our freestyle swim class.
Many adults begin this course with hesitation. Some feel uneasy. Some feel real fear.
That’s completely normal.
Being afraid of the water is more common than you think.
No one is pushed.
No one is put on display.
You can take a break anytime.
Every bit of progress matters — even the quiet, small ones.
“I can recommend this course wholeheartedly. I only wish I had signed up much earlier.”

Clear structure creates safety. That’s why you’ll always know what to expect.
Fixed group size
We only coach 3 beginners simultaneously, making sure we keep an eye on everyone and guaranteeing your safety.
Intensive learning, 2x a week
This way you get used to the water faster and make your swimming movements automatic.
Calm arrival
Each session begins with a calm arrival and an introduction about today's topic.
Practice in shallow water
We'll build your confidence with small steps, so all exercises take place in shallow water, about chest-deep.
Everyone in view
The coach keeps everyone in view and offers personal guidance within the small group.
Summary of every lesson
At the end of every lesson, we briefly reflect on what you’ve learned and gently prepare you for the next session.
By the end of the course, you’ll notice real changes.
This isn’t about speed. It’s about feeling at home in the water.
In this beginner swim course for adults, safety comes first. Not just physical safety — but emotional safety too.
You are guided by qualified coaches who have real experience working with adults. They understand that learning to swim later in life can bring up hesitation, tension, or even fear.
That’s met with patience. Not pressure.

This course is designed as a steady journey. One session builds on the next. Over eight weeks, your body gets time to adjust.
Your confidence gets time to grow. Nothing is rushed.
If this feels like the right next step for you:
What if I feel afraid?
That’s completely okay. You decide the pace.
At any point, you can pause. We move step by step, and you’re never pushed into something you’re not ready for. Fear is allowed here. We work with it calmly.
Is there deep water?
No. All exercises take place in shallow water. You can stand at any time. Your feet can touch the ground — that alone often brings a sense of relief.
What should I bring?
Swimwear
Swim goggles
A towel
Everything else will be explained in your confirmation email after booking, so you know exactly what to expect.
When do we enter the water?
The course begins at the scheduled time in the water. For the first session, we meet 15 minutes earlier in the entrance area. This gives you time to arrive, ask questions, and settle in without rush.
Is the course always at the same time?
Yes. The course takes place eight times, always at the same time.
Changing to a different time slot isn’t possible. This consistency helps create rhythm and familiarity — and that makes learning easier.
You don’t need to be able to swim.
You don’t need to be confident.
You don’t need to be fearless.
You simply need to begin.
